About
P-Patch

P-Patch is a non-profit organization founded in 2020 as a response to the increased need for high-quality children’s mental health services and the coinciding decrease in public assistance for families. Our mission is to improve the mental health of youth and strengthen families by providing access to therapeutic day camp programs and intensive psychotherapy treatment. The future goal of P-Patch is to establish and operate a private school focused on mental and behavioral health.

Helping
Local Families

The cost of care is too often the barrier for families to access the specialized and high-quality care that they need. P-Patch is committed to removing that barrier and supporting the low-income, foster, and kinship families of Seattle and King County. A P-Patch camp scholarship may be the key to a family remaining intact and getting the tools and support they need to heal.

Camp
Scholarships

Children with emotional-behavioral issues or Autism Spectrum Disorder often struggle to succeed in camp programs. Far too often, it is the children who need these programs the most who are left behind due to their need for individualized one-on-one support from trained and caring professionals. These children will miss out on the experience of going to camp, creating friendships, and joining a community. Through generous donations from our community, P-Patch provides scholarships for these youth to attend Community Care’s Therapeutic Camp program. There they will experience the many benefits of camp with the specialized support they need.
